FAQ

*~Jewellery~*

Q. "On some stones you have (soft) written beside them, why is that?"

A. Stones have a category of their strength, how resistant they are to scratches, cracking or even shattering. So if I write that a stone is (soft) then that means it's very fragile, so a direct hit with enough force could crack or in the worst case, shatter it.

A hard stone, is one that is strong and highly resistant to scratches, cracks or shattering.

*~Plushies and Posers~*

Q. "What's the difference between a 'Plushie' and a 'Poser', is there even a difference?"

A. Oh yes there's a VERY big difference. Plushies or plush toys, are like teddy bears, dolls or something soft that you can let children play with because it's only fabric, stuffing and maybe some plastic beads for eyes.

Posers are very different because they're built for accuracy and posing(thus the name Posers) but for them to have this, they need an internal structure made up from wires, cables and other materials. Because children play very roughly, they can do severe damage to a Poser and break it or somehow hurt themselves or someone else with it. (you would be very surprised at what kids can do)

"But my (son/daughter) is very responcible and won't break it!"

Nope, sorry but it's a precaution. "Better safe then sorry." So unless your child is over 14 years old, I will not sell a Poser to you.

Q. "Why are these so expensive?"

A. Because it take a lot of time and money to make these. Meepo, the purple dragon on the front page took 1 month to build and cost quite a lot in materials. I charge to cover the costs for the Poser, the labor I put into it plus shipping it safely to their owners. Please remember that these are luxury items, not toys.

*~General~*

Q. "Can you make these cheaper?"

A. If you mean combined shipping, I can do that.

If you mean the actual item's price, no, I cannot. These prices are set to cover the amount of labor and materials used to create them and I would be losing money if I reduced the cost.

When you ask an artist to sell you a piece they spend hours, days or weeks on for $10 it's showing them that you don't value their work and can give them a bad impression or the wrong idea about what you think about them and their art.

So keep in mind, the prices are set like that for a reason.

*~Payment~*

Q. "Can I pay you after the commission?"

A. No because if you change your mind then I can't cover the cost of the materials to make your item.

Depending on what you commission, you might be able to pay half up front before I start so at least the material cost is covered.

Q. "What if I change my mind once you've started work? Can I get a refund?"

A. If you change your mind once I've started work, I can't refund the material's cost but I can refund the rest.

For example, if you paid the cost upfront and change your mind when I'm already working on it, I'll keep the amount for how much your commission costs in materials and the rest will be refunded.

So please be absolutely sure before you commission me.
